Presence

Presence

How I loved an angel so fair
So I embark and this I dare
Not one moment was left to waste
The way you always lit up my days

And as I cry to see your eyes
I fail in misery as I remain shy
For my crimson heart has spoken once
Your name it cherishes, and love I must

On accord from the skies of heaven
The sunrise dawns, a season ended
Your wings I see, this flight in glee
I beg and plead so we may flee

Now within the realms of light
Amongst a massive crowd of might
Your touch awakens a lonely soul
Alone with you, the place refrains cold

How fast it was, your hand in mine
An angel’s touch brought halt to time
In this world, we love and dwell
Now in harmony, our hearts can tell
