Moonlight

Moonlight.

This is the time we’ve been waiting for
The moonlight shining, light at the star’s core
Twilight has ended, the night not so dark before
Unimaginable it is, her beauty is hard to ignore

Cried she did, for she just loved me
Kissed I did, she cradled softly
Her hair I held, her hand I held
This kiss is passionate, all was well

Three words she told, of her undying faith and love
“Leave you, I won’t” My mouth whispered and said
For the time being we’re alone and in love
This moment is cherished, our hearts left untarnished

I can’t lose her, it may kill me inside

Her love I need, her touch so tender and mild
It can’t end now, passion never dies
I’m afraid to lose her, my thoughts are in demise.
