The Angelic Dilemma

The Angelic Dilemma. ( Feb 3,2010 )

What it takes to see an angel
A question asked by the most able
Even as I have loved so long
Her face I never see, I don’t belong

My average soul couldn’t bear
Not seeing your smile so fair
Only until words we say tonight
Could never go far without you in sight

Our hearts race to infinity
And it ends so romantically
Tomorrow begins in your eyes
Then I dread and ask why

Now you tell me to believe
The time will come when we will see
Your face and mine, then we may flee
At the dawn of morning, our hearts can leave

I’m not a fool for falling in love
Nor did we fail to rise above
So true she is, I’m not mistaken
Now I ask will I ever see my maiden
