What, who defines you?

The second touching funeral Mass I had was that of 16-year-old Xavier School student Patrick Zaldarriaga, the only child of Peter and Kutchie. Only God knows the physical and emotional anguish Patrick went through in his bout with bone cancer these past four years, but this good-looking, good-hearted and very gifted boy embraced his cross with so much courage and self-denial to the very end. He was no crybaby, but a spirited young man who did not give in to self-pity nor despair. He continued to write, inspire and give life. He even campaigned ardently via Internet for President Noynoy from his hospital bed. Noynoy, upon hearing this, dropped by unannounced on the last day of Patrick’s wake.
