Young and Beautiful
The natural order of things is that children bury their parents. Not so with Peter and Kutchie Zaldarriaga who lost Patrick, their one and only child at a young age of 16.
Patrick was a young and a beautiful person. This good-looking, good-hearted, and very gifted boy embraced his cross with so much courage and sacrifice till the very end of his bout with bone cancer. He did not give in to self-pity or despair. In fact he continued to give hope and inspiration to his parents and to people around him, pointing always to God, and our mission in life.
He died young and beautiful.
A moment with the Lord
Lord, help me to live a beautiful and a meaningful life. Amen.
